Enjoy an expandable plan

Start with our core hospital cover: Worldwide Medical Insurance. This gives you the reassurance of covering essential hospital treatment, whether in an emergency or a planned visit.

Once core cover is selected, you can simply add on other modules that you need – from additional out-patient benefits and health assessments, to insurance cover for medicines and evacuation. We may be able to also offer cover for your pre-existing medical conditions.

Choose Your Cover Now

Worldwide Medical Insurance is the core plan that covers any essential hospital treatment you may need, whether in an emergency or a planned visit. All surgery, eligible cancer treatment and advanced imaging, whether received while staying in hospital or visiting as a day patient, are covered. To find out more about the options you can add to the core Worldwide Medical Insurance plan, please see our “Options Explanations” section below.

Worldwide Medical Plus

Worldwide Medical Plus covers you for consultations with a doctor or specialist as well as medical treatments that do not require a hospital stay. Worldwide Medical Plus covers you for a maximum of US$42,500 of treatment per year (excluding transplant services) and also includes cover for child care, maternity care after 24 months membership, complementary therapies and speech therapy.

Worldwide Medicines and Equipment

Worldwide Medicines and Equipment covers you for prescription medicines and medical appliances such as oxygen supplies or wheelchairs. Our long-term prescription benefit will also pay for any medicines required to manage chronic conditions such as asthma.

Worldwide Wellbeing

Worldwide Wellbeing covers you for a range of health screenings, vaccinations, dental and optical treatment to help you stay healthy. These services can provide valuable early detection of a wide variety of conditions. The sooner a condition is identified, the faster you can receive treatment and start feeling better.

Worldwide Evacuation

The Worldwide Evacuation option is ideal if the treatment you need is not available locally. It covers you for reasonable transport costs to the nearest suitable medical centre, helping you get the treatment you need. Repatriation gives you the added option of returning to your home country or specified country of nationality, to be treated in more familiar surroundings.

USA Cover

If you spend most of your time in the USA, then you can buy USA cover on an annual basis. However, if you spend most of your time outside the USA, you can choose to add USA cover to your plan when you join or renew, enabling you to access medical treatment in the USA. We cannot cover USA permanent residents as they must be covered by a local insurance company.

Cover For Pre-existing Conditions

You can apply for the cover of pre-existing conditions as part of your Worldwide Health Options plan. We will evaluate your medical history and any pre-existing condition. Contact us for a personal consultation and quote.

Deductibles

Deductibles are the contributions you make towards the cost of your treatment. Manage the cost of your overall plan by choosing from a range of different deductibles. If you choose to have a deductible on your core Worldwide Medical Insurance plan, additional deductibles will also apply if you opt for Worldwide Medical Plus or Worldwide Medicines and Equipment (deductibles don’t apply to Worldwide Wellbeing or Worldwide Evacuation). However, the deductibles on the optional benefits chosen will be less than the deductible on your core Worldwide Medical Insurance plan. So even though your core Worldwide Medical Insurance deductible may be as much as US$5,000, you’ll only need to run up costs of US$100 for physiotherapy, for example, to start claiming on your Worldwide Medical Plus option.

*Maternity benefits are payable only after the mother has been a member for 24 months.
