Do I need to wear a mask when visiting a doctor?
From 1 March 2024, you are no longer required to wear a mask when you visit an outpatient clinic.
This includes:
Mask is only required when you visit the hospital wards or our acute and critical care department.
However, if you are unwell and experience respiratory infection symptoms such as flu or sore throat, you are still highly encouraged to wear a mask.
