Frequently Asked Questions
Video consultation is suitable for anyone above 2 years old and seeking treatment for non-emergency illnesses. Please note that a patient’s user account is unique, and cannot be used by another person.
For patients below 16 years old, please ensure you have a parent / guardian (who must be at least 21 years old) present with you during the video consultation. The guardian has to show his/her valid ID (eg. NRIC, passport, etc) to the doctor at the start of the teleconsultation.
To begin, download Raffles Connect on the app store or google play, create an account and select “Video call a doctor”
Conditions suitable for video consultation include
- Headaches and migraine
- Fever, cold and flu
- Diarrhoea and constipation
- Cough and sore throat
- Rashes and skin irritation
Conditions that require emergency medical attention are not suitable for video consultation.

- Visual disturbances
- Dizziness
- Chest pain
- Breathing difficulties and asthma
- Abdominal pain with fever
- Diarrhoea with black stools
- Fever for more than 3 days
- Urinary or bowel incontinence
- Pregnancy complications

- Bleeding from any wounds / injuries
First consultation for chronic illnesses
Your medication will be delivered to your address by a courier service. To receive the medication, you will have to verify your identity by presenting your identification card. Upon delivery, please acknowledge receipt of your medication in the app.
Payment is made via the app (using your credit / debit card or e-wallet) after completion of the video consultation. A receipt will be emailed to you.
Issuance of a medical certificate is at the doctor’s discretion. You can access an electronic copy of your MC in the app.
