Profile:

Ms Lim Soo Ching is a clinical psychotherapist with more than 20 years of experience in psychotherapy. She has a Master’s degree in Counselling and is trained to work with people clinically diagnosed with a mental health issue.

She believes in the importance of knowledge sharing and is regularly invited to educate the public through conferences, talks, and workshops for corporate clients. Prior to clinical work, she was also a lecturer in local polytechnics for several years.

Soo Ching is a registered psychotherapist practitioner and supervisor with the Association of Psychologists and Counsellors (Singapore). She is trained in the use of a wide range of psychotherapeutic interventions including cognitive behaviour therapy, motivational interviewing, solution-focused brief therapy, eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing (EMDR), as well as psychiatric rehabilitation.

She adopts a non-judgemental, person-calibrated approach to create a safe environment for clients to explore their problems. Soo Ching specialises in working with and treating individuals who suffer from tinnitus, schizophrenia, depression, anxiety, and mood issues arising from stress, anger, confidence, grief, and bereavement.

Soo Ching has special interest in counselling and coaching youths and adults in both individual and group settings. She strongly believes that the needs of every client are unique and different. She approaches every case with careful tailoring of psychotherapy methods to suit individual’s needs, journeying, and helping them achieve their desired outcomes.
