Dr Tham Keng Seng

Profile:
Dr Tham is a Specialist in Psychiatry. He graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 2012 and attained his specialist accreditation in Psychiatry in 2020. Dr Tham is trained in general adult, child and adolescent, geriatric, addiction, psychodynamic, forensic and liaison psychiatry. He is experienced in managing acutely unwell psychiatric patients and has been involved in multidisciplinary management of complex cases with other specialties such as Neurology, Rehabilitation Medicine and Dermatology. He is also trained to perform electroconvulsive therapy.
He taught medical students from NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and Duke-NUS, and junior doctors from other disciplines at Changi General Hospital. He was previously a core faculty member of the Singapore Psychiatry Residency Program and was involved in the training of junior and senior residents. Dr Tham was awarded the Junior Doctor Teaching Award from NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine in 2017. In the same year, he also served as the Chairman of the Singapore Young Psychiatrist & Trainee section of the Singapore Psychiatry Association.
Dr Tham’s clinical experience include general adult psychiatry, geriatric psychiatry and sleep medicine. He also has special interests in neuropsychiatry and gender dysphoria. In addition, Dr Tham is also well versed in English, Mandarin, Cantonese and Malay.
