Profile:

Dr Mandy Lim is a Specialist in Anaesthesiology. She graduated from National University of Singapore (NUS) in 2003 and attained her postgraduate M Med in Anaesthesiology in 2008. Dr Lim completed her fellowship training in Neuroanaesthesia at the Department of Anaesthesiology, Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital in Perth, Western Australia in 2011.

Prior to joining Raffles Hospital, Dr Lim was a Senior Consultant at the Department of Anaesthesiology, Intensive Care and Pain Medicine at Tan Tock Seng Hospital. She also served as Executive Director for the operating theatres from 2020 to 2024.

Dr Lim held several leadership roles, including Chair of the hospital’s Medical Device Committee and Deputy Chair of the Surgical Care Committee. She contributed to various hospital initiatives such as being a member the Robotics Review Committee, the Hospital Emergency Taskforce, and the Hospital Infection Control Committee.

Dr Lim is dedicated to education and training. She is actively involved in undergraduate teaching as an Adjunct Assistant Professor and Clinical Block Lead for Anaesthesia at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine and a Senior Clinical Lecturer at NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. She has contributed to the revision of teaching materials to reflect advancements in anaesthesia, and conducted simulation training for medical students to enhance their practical skills and clinical knowledge.
