General Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology including cardiac catheterization, percutaneous coronary intervention (angioplasty), intravascular ultrasound (IVUS), fractional flow reserve (FFR), pacemaker implantation and peripheral intervention.
Profile:
Dr Lee Yian Ping is a Cardiologist. He was previously a consultant cardiologist and Program Director at the Khoo Teck Puat Hospital (KTPH). He is now a visiting consultant at the National University Heart Centre (NUHC) and at KTPH. He was also an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore. Dr Lee has been conferred Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians (Edinburgh), European Society of Cardiology, American College of Cardiology and Academy of Medicine Singapore. He did his advanced specialist training at the National University Heart Centre and subsequently received an MOH scholarship for his subspecialty training in Interventional Cardiology at the Liverpool Hospital, New South Wales, Australia.
Dr Lee’s area of expertise includes interventional cardiology (angiogram and stent implantation), general cardiology, radial approach coronary intervention and pacemaker implantation. He has special interest in complex coronary interventions such as chronic total occlusions (CTO). He is also well versed in non- invasive tests such as echocardiography, ambulatory ECG, ambulatory blood pressure and treadmill exercise stress tests.
