Profile:
Dr Kenneth Lim pursued his education in dentistry from the University of Melbourne. After graduation, he worked as a general dentist for several years both in the public and private sector in regional Victoria and Melbourne.
His interest in orthodontics led him back to the University of Melbourne where he spent three more years in the specialist residency programme where he gained the qualification of Doctor of Clinical Dentistry (Orthodontics). After completing his orthodontic residency, he was elected as a specialist member with both The Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons and The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh through examination.
Dr Lim’s special areas of interest include digital dentistry, aligner treatment, orthognathic surgery, and early interceptive treatment.
Outside of dentistry, he likes to take his cavoodle out for mini adventures or take afternoon naps together when it is raining.
Having undergone orthodontic treatment himself when he was younger, Dr Lim witnessed first-hand its benefits, and the positive impact it can have on one’s life. He believes in early diagnosis and treatment of teeth alignment for children and adolescents, and helping adults achieve their desired smile through orthodontic treatment.
