Profile:
Dr Chris Foo is a dermatologist, and the Managing Partner and Consultant of Raffles Skin & Aesthetics Centre. He has special interests in the treatment of pigmentation and in laser dermatology. His broad areas of interest are in cosmetic dermatology, which includes cutaneous laser surgery for acne scars, skin tightening, hair removal, facial rejuvenation, and the use of botox as well as skin surgery for tumours and skin cancers.
He has extensive experience in the treatment of sexually transmitted diseases and of hair and nail conditions such as alopecia areata, scarring alopecia, and androgenetic alopecia. Besides these, he also covers all aspects of general dermatology including eczema, psoriasis, acne, urticaria, and vitiligo. He also performs skin cancer screening.
Dr Foo was formerly a dermatologist at the National Skin Centre and a Clinical Tutor at the National University of Singapore. He is currently a Visiting Consultant at the Singapore General Hospital’s Department of Dermatology.
