Job Responsibilities
The candidate will provide leadership in designing, planning, overseeing development, project management and implementing computer-based solutions to serve end users. The candidate will be responsible for application software technology evaluation to ensure relevance of technology within the organisation.
• Plan, organise and control analysis of assigned functional area requirements
• Develop policies and procedures for project management, implementation, programming and maintenance of assigned areas
• Liaise with vendors and government agencies (eg Ministry of Health of the People’s Republic of China, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People’s Republic of China, National Audit Office) where necessary
• Responsible for Application Software evaluation
• Responsible for management of databases
• Develop and maintain mobile applications
Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science
• At least 5 years of experience implementing, maintaining, and managing electronic Business Application Systems, Hospital Information Systems and Clinical Application Systems in China
• Possess strong hands-on programming experience in Microsoft C#, Java, MS SQL Server and Oracle database
• Vendor management experience
• Effective people leadership skills
• Good command of English and Mandarin
• Willing to be based in Chongqing for 2 years
• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or equivalent certification desired
• Knowledge of healthcare standards such as JCI, HIMSS, SNOMED, HL7 desired
